1. Data center
The data center is located in a 22,704 square meter high-security bedrock cave. Located around 20 minutes from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and the center of Helsinki. The preliminary planning of the project is overseen by Granlund Oy and is ready to be presented to the public around Q2/24. High-voltage energy grid and district heating on site.
2. Carbon negative
The solar power park, connected to the data center, is estimated to produce 500,000 kWh annually, offsetting about 285 tonnes of CO2 each year. With the data center sourcing its electricity entirely from renewable sources, and 40% of its energy being fed into the district heating network, the investment removes more emissions from the atmosphere than it produces.
3. District heating production
The data center consumes approximately 40 million kWh of electricity annually, of which 12 million kWh is recovered and supplied to the district heating network. Around 4 percent of this energy is locally produced solar energy. The energy harnessed from solar processes is routed through the data center and subsequently used to heat nearby homes.
4. Charging stations
Charging stations for electric vehicles, powered by solar-generated electricity, are being implemented in both the Leppävaara and Kilo areas. This initiative supports local mobility and promotes greener transportation options in the Leppävaara and Kilo areas.
4. Environment and Leisure
In a historic manor setting, the riding school has seven residential buildings. A data center project will improve the area and develop equestrian activities, including constructing eight boutique lodgings and boutique spa. Permission is sought to use stone from rock caves for riding arena and trail bases.
3. Horse Stables and Outdoors
The facilities of the local riding school will be updated to meet modern standards, and the area's riding trails will be improved. The area is inhabited by various species including flying squirrels, deer, foxes, hares, and a significant number of different bird species, whose presence in the area will be safeguarded. There are few private camping sites on the area.

Our goal is to develop an industrial-scale solar power plant to produce locally generated energy for the needs of Leppävaara residents. In the design of the solar park, the landscaping and park-like nature of the area will be taken into account. The development plan for the area has not yet been presented to the City of Espoo, nor to the public.
